You know what I love? A really intense dance class. That's exactly what I got last night. Tap was fun, jazz was hilarious (a reminder of why I love Thursday nights) but ballet was, and I can't believe I'm saying this, amazing. I worked soooo hard and it actually payed of for once. Of course I can't feel my legs now, but there's a good explanation for that. So we were doing our normal bar warm-up- grande-pliƩ, stretch, grande-pliƩ, stretch. But then, my left leg started quivering. At first just the normal vibration that shows when you're building muscle, but then like a full earthquake. And it wouldn't stop!!!! Every time I bent my leg, it started shaking furiously. After a while I got used to it but then I went into split with my right leg and that started shaking too, 10 times worse than the left leg! It felt like the ground was vibrating, but I pushed harder and got closer than I've ever been to getting a full split. Yay! But that was just Thursday. Now it's Friday, and I couldn't be happier. Friday and Saturday are my two favorite days of the week. Today we had a test on the states, capitals, and abbreviations of the United States and I think I got them all right except for Alabama because I couldn't remember the capital: Montgomery. Stupid Montgomery. Math was nothing special, just a pre-test on fractions, a lesson on how to use a protractor, and getting back yesterdays test (94%!) When I walked into English, there were shreds of magazines all over the floor from a collage project we're doing (my hands still hurt from all the cutting!). In AE we had to take the test that a person takes to become a citizen of the United States. I figured out that if I wasn't born here, they would never allow me in. Out of 25 strangely hard questions about our country (how many times has the Constitution been changed?) I only got 11 right. Although it was 4 points higher than the average of the rest of my class. But science was where things got really out of hand. Demented circles, counting worse than a kindergartner's, LED lights, and atoms Bob, Bob, Bob, and Frank were just part of it. Trust me, you don't want to know the rest. Now it's 5:29, I'm hungry, and I'm going to the mall with Jen to get Stephanie a birthday present. In case you didn't know, her birthday is in 3 days. I'm positive she wanted me to tell you that. Steph's the one in my above picture that does NOT look like a freak (in case you're extremely unobservant, she's the one on the left). We were getting ready for the American Idol concert, taking amazing pics and putting on piles of eye makeup. Dinner is ready, I have to go to the mall, and my Friday night adventures are waiting. You will miss me, I'm sure.
