Shall We Start Over?
This week went by pretty fast, but I suppose that's to be expected when you only have four days of school. So we came in on Tuesday all excited because it was inauguration day and we got to watch it for an hour instead of going to classes! =D Let me just say that I've been an Obama fan since June of last year. The thing I love about the new first family is that they seem like people that you know, like they could practically be your neighbors! Now look at Hilary Clinton on John McCain. Could you imagine them living in your little town? I think not! Anyway, I'm getting off topic. For the inauguration, we all piled into the gym and sat on the bleachers that are easily as old as my great grandmother. The whole "stand up for the oath" thing was confusing to our "brain challenged" peers. It was also a bit hard for our gravitationally challenged people, as I witnessed. Wednesday and Thursday were fine, but dance was torture/needed work. Usually we do a regular bar warm-up, but since our teacher wasn't there that night due to her recently deceased father [ :( ], we got our the long green mats and did floor bar. You need good abs to keep your legs in the air with your hands and torso on the ground while doing bar in the air. I do not have good abs. They usually fail me, last night was an example. Ally kept telling me to breath (which I was...barely) so I started laughing hysterically and my legs slammed down on the mat. Stephanie was laughing at me too- I was quite a sight with my face beat red and my dull brown hair poofing out of its ponytail! The night went on with us continuing to burst into little fits of laughter at the most random things. Today was boring, two quizzes and one test in a row! Not exactly the most fun way to spend my Friday. About a month ago, Alyssa asked our table if we thought our school had clicks. Look around, we sure do! Ours is one of them! Me, Jen K, Steph, Heather, and Alyssa are all one little group. Sadly, I'm not on their team, so I experience their daily school adventures vicariously through their blogs! =) Oh, what would we do without blogs?!~

Let's Bring it Up a Notch
Happy 2009! A little late for that, though. I haven't posted for a while. Just put me down in the record book for world's worst blogger. =D I just may be! Jen's been bugging me about it for more than a month now. So let's see what has changed since December 7th... Caroline will no longer play my older part in the show. :'( In a very sucky and desperate decision, our director decided to give the second act of the show, where Caroline would play the only Raja, to the high school. Lucky for me, I still have my part. I guess you missed my holiday festivities too! Well that's not too important, because you can now text me and ask me about it if you must (hint hint). Don't know the number? You're probably not supposed to. Last weekend we had a neighborhood party. An invitation to go down the street to hang out in the hot tub during the snow storm and play Wii until midnight. Caroline P, Caroline W, me and a few younger kids on the street really got into "World of Goo", the most amazing Wii game ever! We also made gangster names for ourselves, because everyone needs a good gangster name, correct? I'm Dillo (not like armadillo, that's just the common misconception. I'll tell you the story later), Caroline P is Big Ma and Caroline W is Buggy! Yes, we're extremely creative. This past week was terrible. Minutes went by like hours, days like months. I'm in need of some new clothes, for my shirts are getting old. Oh well, Friday night made up for it. Kendrah's "surprise" (yeah, that got ruined thanks to the "recent documents" thing that comes up when you save something) birthday party was perfectly amazing. The DJ was way better than the one we had at the dance last Friday, which I conveniently forgot to write about. He did play a lot of songs twice, but it's all good. Rachel, Julia, Caroline P, Jen J and I partied until 11, when we were forced to get out. The food was good, I got green frosting on my shoes, and we figured out which animal heads looked like each other! Ah, if only the dance had been that fun. The dance. How I have been dreading writing about it. The high school student DJ was a horrible choice. He played all this rap/rock/pop crap that no one had ever heard before. Our song requests went unfulfilled, but I was with my friends which was just fine with me. Really, it was the most boring dance ever. Drama: zero. Good music: 50% songs. Fun: ehhh. So onto another topic... did I ever say how much I love Paramore? I'm listing to them right now. Misery Business is a masterpiece and Fences doesn't get the credit it deserves. Have a listen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=emoPXVgREKM. This one has Twilight pictures!I've decided on a new thing. I'll end my posts with lyrics from an amazingly unknown-to-some song. Today, let's go with fences...
